Best Buddies Miami
As a Board Member of Best Buddies Miami, I have had the privilege of supporting one of the nation's leading organizations dedicated to creating opportunities for friendship, leadership, employment, and inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Throughout my year as Miss Miami, I participated in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk, joining thousands of advocates, families, and supporters in advancing a more inclusive community.
One of the highlights of my year was meeting Best Buddies founder and Chairman, Anthony Shriver, whose vision has transformed millions of lives around the world through the power of inclusion. Through my service as a board member, community advocate, and titleholder, I have worked to amplify the mission of Best Buddies while helping create meaningful opportunities for connection, belonging, and empowerment across South Florida.
This experience has reinforced my belief that true leadership begins with inclusion and that every individual deserves the opportunity to be seen, valued, and celebrated for who they are.
Representing the City of Miami
Throughout my year as Miss Miami, I have proudly represented the City of Miami at civic celebrations, community festivals, nonprofit events, and public initiatives that brought together residents from every corner of our community. By building relationships with local leaders, organizations, and community stakeholders, I have worked to strengthen connections between service, advocacy, and civic engagement. These opportunities have allowed me to serve as an ambassador for the city while highlighting the importance of volunteerism, mentorship, and community involvement throughout South Florida.
Zoo Miami
Education and conservation come to life through the experiences created at Zoo Miami. Throughout my year, I had the opportunity to partner with the zoo during multiple community events that brought together children, families, educators, and wildlife enthusiasts from across South Florida. Whether engaging with young guests discovering animals for the first time or supporting programs that encourage environmental stewardship, these experiences highlighted the zoo's unique ability to inspire learning across generations. Partnering with Zoo Miami has been a meaningful way to support an organization that continues to educate, connect, and inspire our community.
Miami Beach Pride
Few events capture the spirit of Miami quite like Miami Beach Pride. Celebrating alongside thousands of attendees from across South Florida provided an opportunity to recognize the diversity, culture, and individuality that make our community so vibrant. Participating in one of the nation's largest Pride celebrations reinforced the importance of creating environments where people feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to be their authentic selves. It was an honor to represent the City of Miami during an event that reflects the inclusivity and strength of our community.
